A core aim of the REQUITE project was to find and validate genetic predictors of radiotherapy side effects. To do this the project collected blood samples from each patient at the time they were recruited, before radiotherapy. The aim of this report is to report on the genotyping undertaken of blood samples collected in the observational study and processed by the CIGMR biobank. Describe the SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) and CNVs ( Copy number variations) identified as being associated with side effects following radiotherapy and that were included to improve tumour specific prediction models.
